Original Mosin-Nagant accessories set that includes a genuine leather carrying sling and ammo pouch. Will also fit the M38, M59, M44 and others. Two-point sling, an old design that features two attachment points and utilizes two sling mounts found on the rifle (below the barrel and in the butt stock). When attached, two-point slings allow a shooter to carry the rifle over one shoulder or across the back freeing the hands and making transport much easier. The sling is made of genuine leather and brass hardware. It measures approximately 1.5 inches wide and 56 inches long and includes original dog collar-style attachment straps. Each pouch comes in light brown or beige leather, featuring a fold over top flap with a brass stud to the bottom. The front of the fold over top flap has a vertical stitched on closure strap with a single stud eyelet. The closure strap was designed to affix to the stud on the pouch bottom for a secure closure. The pouches have belt loops consisting of two vertical straps with a single stud eyelets machine stitched to the reverse, running over the bottom. These straps attach to the brass studs on the bottom of each pouch. This unique belt loop system allowed soldiers to remove the pouch without taking the belt off. This appeared quite convenient in the time-constrained conditions. There is also a brass D-ring on the pouch reverse. These are the original early 1950s manufacture not recent Chinese, Indian or Bulgarian. Made in Germany as a part of their war reparations to the Soviet Union. The items are in very good condition considering their age. It is most likely that they were never used and were kept at a warehouse for the last 65 years. Leather the items are made from is firm, well-curried and of very high quality. The stitching and rivets are nice and tight. However, due to the conditions they were kept in, they might have some storage wear. Hence, they are listed as used. Will do their job perfectly and will last forever.
