Original pre-WWI French Army Leather Rifle Sling for the Gras or Lebel Rifle – Very Nice Condition – RARE. This sling is used, see photo’s for condition. No rips or tears, some minor wrinkling or surface cracking in the leather. There are no markings or dates on the sling. The sling is approximately 50″ long x 1 1/8″ wide. It has a brass buckle and metal stud. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. If you break it trying to use it, it is NOT returnable. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
