Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Marked: MILSCO 1943 – Nice Condition. The sling is faintly marked MILSCO and dated 1943. This sling has the correct WWII Steel hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling and cracks on the surface of the leather. The leather has darken with age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items. For sale here is a nice looking US WW2 Ordnance Marked Leather Strap. I do not know what this strap is, so if you do, let me know, and i will update the listing. The strap is complete with sewn in leather keeper, and has 12 round center buckle holes. The end of the strap is marked with an Ordnance insignia over C9C. The strap is made of brown leather and is 25 3/4″ long and is 1 1/4″ wide. The strap is in good overall condition, but does show some darkening, dark spots and age. The leather is strong and supple.
