Sling accepts 1 or bigger QuickTach swivels (not included). Shells held tightly with heavy loops or no loops at all if desired. Matching lever wrap included! Up for sale is what I believe to be a new old stock Hunter sling. The brass has some green. Corrosion and there are a few roughed up places on the leather as pictured. This was taken off a Remington 700. As shown it is 32 inches long. Measuring the leather end to end, which includes the part that wraps around the underside, it is approximately 43 inches long. It comes with common mounting hardware as shown and both units are very clean with very good bluing. The leather is strong, soft, pliable and clean. The padded strap section is very nice looking and well padded. The leather has very minor wear and overall, it doesn’t look like it was used much. Fabulous Vintage Arvo Ojala Custom Tooled “BRUNO” Brown Leather Double Cobra Style Gun Sling – RARE. Has stained, engraved lion/tiger, engraved name “Bruno”, nice possibly silver fancy rivets. The leather is thick and strong, with a suede backing, and there are no condition issues. This sling most likely dates to pre-1990′s as Ojala passed in 2005 at age 85, and this does not appear to have been used. Arvo Ojala was a Hollywood technical advisor on the subject of quick-draw with a revolver. He also worked as an actor; his most famous role was that of the unnamed man shot by Marshal Matt Dillon in the opening sequences of the long-running television series Gunsmoke. For a very interesting read, look him up on Wikipedia. He founded a holster company and used six different marks on his leather goods. Please view all images and ask any questions.
