This M1907 Military Rifle Sling is hand-made by me in a small one man shop. This sling is made from 8oz. Tanned leather and American Made attachments, and is 1.25 inches wide. The sling “claws” are solid brass and attached with solid brass Chicago Screws. Color of this sling a Reddish Brown– This sling is not dyed!!! It is finished with 100 % Pure Neet’s Foot Oil, set in the sun for two days to develop a nice natural reddish brown color, then it is finished off with 2 coats of Sedgwick’s Leather Care, imported from England. All edges are burnished and sealed with 100% Pure Local Bees Wax. This sling is 100% hand-sewn, using a saddle sitich, with 6 ply-waxed nylon thread. PLEASE NOTE : Because of the Heavy Duty Brass Claw, Chicago Screws and the heavy leather used in making these slings–the Brass Claw on the short strap may need to be removed to fit through some sling swivels. The brass screws that hold the Rifle Claw on can be easily removed with a regular screw driver.
