This is a chance to own one of the MOST STURDY American made rifle slings, this rifle sling is patterned after the early Springfield 1903 slings the model is 1907 sling. This is a NATIONAL MATCH sling. It has been the best choice for National Match shooting with the M1 Garand or the M1A/M14 rifles, it even has been used on the M16 and AR15 rifles. I, personally have used this same type sling for high-power National Match shooting. This is used to’lock in’ the rifle to secure a steady hold. Marksmen and snipers know exactly what they are used for and how to use them. Still seen on the firing line at competitive matches it is recognized as an original vintage item. This sling is very strong and can be either used for High Power or Small-bore shooting. This sling is new and shows no use, with very soft color & hue to the leather. There are no cracks on this sling and it still retains its sling keepers, and with the phosphate sling hooks.
