leather rifle sling

This is an original WW2 era M1 Garand rifle sling. The leather strap is maker stamped J. With no other markings. The strap is in great shape, but there is some minor cracking on the leather in a few places. There are no rips or major flaws in the leather though. Most of the wear is normal aging. The stitching is all tight and original with no issues. The metal fixtures are in great shape with no issues as well. Guaranteed original and authentic. I believe these were used in WW1 and WW2 for the 1903 Springfield and M1 Garand rifles. Legacy Item Number: 051916-10.
