An Original WW1 1915 Dated British Leather Rifle Sling for the. 303 P14, SMLE and Long Lee Enfield Rifles By Hepburn, Gale and Ross Ltd. Grange Road, Bermondsey, London SE, H. The sling has a very nice patina. It retains the leather lace at one end. The other end retains the sliding leather loop keeper and the fixed one. The sliding leather keeper has a single rivet and the fixed one is secured to the sling with two rivets. One end is very nicely stamped with H. Of Grange Road, Bermondsey, London SE. It has “1915″ below this, see the close up photographs. The sling measures 43. It is crisply stamped on the inside with “351569″ and on the outside with “353270″ and has a number neatly scratched on the outside “0622/6″. This is a very nice, dated and stamped example.
