WWII US ARMY M1907 Leather Sling M1903 Springfield or M1 Garand Rifle Unmarked
Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR, M1917 Enfiled or M1 Garand Rifle – Unmarked – NICE Condition. Ther are no visible markings on the sling. This sling has the correct WWII Blackened Steel Hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has one leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. There are several areas of surface cracking and the common cracks between the adjustment holes. Please see photo’s. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
