Vintage leather rifle sling with fish hook style swivels. The swivels measure just under 2 in overall length, and fit the included 1 wide leather sling perfectly. The metal swivels show wear from use, and the bluing is worn. The leather strap shows use and some discoloration, but has a lot of life left in it. It has a stamping STOEGER ARMS CORP. The identifying characteristic of this sling is the adjustment buckle: it is inscribed Pat. Jan 12, 1897, indicating it was based on US Patent 575,164, granted to W. Johnson, assignees of Winchester Corporation, New Haven, Connecticut. The sling and swivel combination measures just under 27.5 as currently adjusted; it can be shortened or lengthened to fit your requirements.
