One pair of sling hooks for use on antique Winchester rifles, for attaching a leather sling into the inletted “sling eyes” of the buttstock and forend of some antique Winchester rifles. The elongated opening for the leather sling itself is approximately 1 1/8″ in width, and the curved “hook” portion passes through the metal “eyes in the rifle to allow a sling to be attached to the rifle. I do not know the age of this item for sure, however I have had them for a number of years. They do not appear to have been used and are in “excellent plus” condition. They would be perfect for your rifle if it was excellent to near new original condition. They would not look correct on a gun that was extensively worn or in poor condition.
