Basic but still using same quality leather as my other items. Handmade leather gunstock cover (8 oz leather)and sling (12 oz leather)to match. Leather is natural oiled leather and Sling accepts 1 or bigger QuickTach swivels (not included). (leather can be different shade depending on the hide). Shells held tightly with heavy loops or no loops at all if desired. Matching lever wrap included! Please notify me and I will add a large decorative stitch in place if shell holders if desired. Com for more designs. If any modifications of the stock have been made cutting off / adding a recoil. Etc that changes the original stock there may be additional charge for making pattern. Original and nice WWI & WWII U. GI issue M1907 leather rifle sling. This sling was intended to be used on the Springfield 1903, 1917 Enfield, and U. S Trench Combat shotguns. Also would have been used on M1 Garand Rifles during WWII. Sling is not marked that I can see but is USGI issue, not a commercial. The sling is all intact including both of its sewn leather keepers, not put together from parts, and remains in very solid condition. Absolutely 100% lifetime guaranteed to be an original. Original WW II Era leather rifle sling for the Garand or Springfield rifles. It has no legible markings although on the surface near one of the hooks, with a magnifying glass, I think there is a “3″ in the area where a date would be. I could not make this come out in the photos. The hooks are steel. The sling is in very good condition. There are no stains or tears or scuffs. There are marks from use and wear. The keepers are solid. There are no odors. Please ask questions early. Please see my other items. This sling measures 59 1/2″ by 1 1/8″ wide. It is in amazing condition for its age. Markings and no keeper so I’m not exactly sure which gun this would fit. Could clean corrosion away from (2) brass hooks but that’s your call. If you know what gun this fits please let me know so I can pass it on.
