LOOK FOR THE DIAGRAM OF THE REQUIRED MEASUREMENTS, we will need the measurements to make your custom sling. These are made by hand with pure Old World Craftsmanship! Made in the USA. These are made of soft saddle leather. Very nice and flexible, will give you many years of service. 1 1/2″ wide and 48″ long. Also Available in 1″, 1 1/2″, 2″ and 3/4″. Includes 2 Chicago screws and 2 leather loops. Pick your color hardware, blue, brass or chrome. The rivets are counter sunk and a felt pad is put over them to ensure your stock doesn’t get scratched. KRAG LEATHER SLING ORIGINAL Stamped W. Very Good Leather & Stitching. This is an original leather sling from a Krag. Very good brass hardware and very good leather. On one end of the leather, it is clearly stamped W. The stitching is very strong on the section where the 2 sections of leather come together and on the keepers. The leather is strong and will easily hold the weight of a rifle, including the keepers. The leather has medium and darker medium brown colors. The leather is firm and pliable. About 1/3 of the frog keeper holes have a minor surface crack and there is one near the frog. A portion of the middle of the sling has a slight surface wrinkle look to it. Very nice looking sling. I removed from sling from a Springfield Trapdoor. This would be ideal for a vintage Springfield. It appears to be from that same vintage, but I’m not certain. The leather shows dry cracking but nothing out of the ordinary for this age. No markings that I could find on it. The sling is 1. Parts Questions and Requests. This sling was originally made from 3 sections that are sewed together and the stitching is very strong. It has one brass hook that has a nice shape to it and is securely fastened. The vast majority of the surface is very nice with some surface wear on the end that has the keeper. Both keepers are very nice but the stitching has come loose where the ends meet.
