AN UNUSED PRE WAR- OR WW2 VERY EARLY MODEL USED IN WW2. HAS NEVER BEEN ON A RIFLE. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL U. THEY WERE WRAPPED IN A HEAVY O. COLOR PAPER AND TIED WITH STRING. BELT IN NICE UNUSED CONDITION. LEATHER IS STILL IN NICE CONDITION SOME VERY MINOR AGE PATINA. AND OXIDATION ON THE BRASS METAL FITTINGS. SLING IS UNMARKED WHICH WAS COMMON. The item “WW2 U. S.
