WWII US M1907 LEATHER RIFLE SLING. FOR’03 SPRINGFIELD OR M1 GARAND. DOUBLE MARKED MILSCO 1944. This WWII US M907 Leather Rifle Sling belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. He set aside vintage military items over the years. This sling was on a WWII US M1 Garand rifle used in one of his displays. This particular sling shows only light use/wear and the tan leather is slightly dry but remains solid/supple overall The sling is complete with both the correct parts (see photos). The leather strapping has no elongated holes and both leather keepers are present/intact (see photos). The fittings are steel (as opposed to the earlier WWI brass fittings) indicating WWII manufacture and both remain securely attached (see photos). This sling is double marked with MILSCO 1944 stamped to the leather below each fitting (see photos). This WWII US M1907 leather sling remains solid/complete showing only light use/wear. It makes an excellent presentation and would be perfect for a display on the appropriate US rifle. It is guaranteed to be an original period piece as described. Indian War Era US Army Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Leather Rifle Sling – 3rd Pat. Very Nice Condition. Up for sale is an. Indian War Era US Army Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Leather Rifle Sling – 3rd Pattern. The leather is soft and supple. The leather has darkened with age, dark brown in color. This is the 3rd pattern sling with the narrow hooks and round holes. This is an early 3rd Pattern one piece leather sling, not one of the more common ones made from two salvaged civil war slings sewn together. There are some surface cracks in the sling and some wrinkling. It has the brass stud. These slings are getting very difficult to find. Check out my other items. Original WWII Era US Army M1907 Leather Sling for the M1 Garand & M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifle – Marked: Boyt -44- Nice Condition. Up for sale is an Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling. The sling is faintly marked: Boyt -44. This sling has the correct WWII Steel hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and pliable. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some minor surface cracks and wrinkling of the leather, please see photos. The leather has darkened with age. The stitching is all tight and intact, no fraying. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommended for actual use.
