Up for sale is this Original WWII WW2 German K98 Mauser Rifle Leather Sling COG L&F Nice Old Vintage. This sling came from an estate sale. The sling looks like it was used a lot, and is worn down. You can see this in the photos. THE SLING IS MISSING THE SLIDING LOOP. For it’s age, this sling looks like it’s still in good shape. But for us it looks like this is more of a display item for your collection. Soon we will be listing more military holsters and rifle slings from this estate sale. The sling does NOT include swivels but they can easily be added by unfastening the front and back Chicago screws. This is an excellent simplistic sling. The sling features an un-padded suede portion to prevent slippage while carrying. The carry portion is also wider for better weight distribution while carrying. Sling length is adjustable via the rear Chicago screw. Sling is clean and in good condition and the original plastic sling swivels have been replaced with Uncle Mike’s detachable swivels. This sling has a rubber texture sewn into the shoulder carry portion of the sling. It is Nylon 1-1/4 across and also features Uncle Mike’s detachable swivels.
