NOTE: this CANNOT be made for ” Tuffy” model. Handmade leather cover and sling for Rossi Circuit Judge from 8 oz natural oiled leather for cover, Perfectly designed to unique contour of this stock. Covers nearly all the stock leaving hand area free. 10 sturdy shell holders are set in a angle for maximum area use allowing 5- 410′s up front and 5-45LC’s in rear or what ever combo you desire. Decorative lace and lanyard added both in cover and sling which is 12 oz leather of same. It might look complicated to install but isnt! Just lace on the bottom from front to back like a shoe. The sling is equipped to hold 5-410′s and 5 45LC’ too and lined. This combo is functional, comfortable, protective and pretty darn neat looking! Note: I can add initials too if desired at no charge! Modified by British for. These slings were standard on the Gueres when the Boers bought them from the Portuguese Army. Very good used condition (especially for a 130 year old sling). This one looks to have been captured by a British soldier (based on modifications & markings as I have no knowledge of the actual history). The sling has been modified by removing the Steyr/Portuguese button stud that secured the loop together at the lower sling swivel. A lacing system the same as the one later used on the SMLE No1 was used. The inside has been stamped “GNRB94147″ which may be the Service number of the Artilleryman (Gunner/GNR) who used it on his Long Lee MLE. Sling is still soft & pliable. There is some wear and deterioration of the leather but few cuts or nicks that are serious. The sling is black on the outer surface and dark brown on most of the inner. Contact me before purchasing.
