An Original USGI Issued, Supple, U. WW2 Boyt -44- (for 1944) marked M1 Garand Leather Rifle Sling Carry Strap. Also used on 1903 Springfield and on 1918A2 BAR. Sling is complete, very well marked, and remains in very supple condition throughout. Beautiful “reddish” color, a little less red in color on the shorter strap. Complete with both proper sling keepers. Beautiful original WW2 markings. Personalized by the former soldier owner on each steel buckle, his initials, we expect. Both buckles have the same 3 initials. Really a great 1944 BOYT marked sling. Fastened as you see it in the pictures, measures 27+1/2 inches in length end to end. Usually these are found showing terrible leather hardness or cracking, not this one, which makes it very scarce in this wonderful supple condition.
