Original Austrian production carbine sling. Very hard to find.

Originally I thought this was a sling for a K98k rifle but was told that its actually for a post war Austrian STG-58. It measures about 55 1/2 long and almost 1 wide. 2 holes instead of the 3 on the Mauser. No checkered pattern in the leather. See pics as part of the description. Ask any questions you may have. Will add this metal stud fastener that was on another sling that I got at the same time as this one. Original WW1 Era M95 Sling. Condition: Excellent, with the leather still soft and supple and the sling free from holes, tears, or other damage. The snap and buckles are free of oxidation and rust, although the leather does feature minor crackling. This sling is WW1 era and is used with the M95 Austro-Hungarian Steyr Mannlicher.
