This is an outstanding example of original leather sling issued during WW1 for the Lebel 1886M93 rifle, the 1907/15 rifle and the Berthier carbines. Very rare and hard to find in these conditions. They come from an italian military arsenal, because the french army sent a lot of equipment as help to Italy in 1917. T his is a real WW1 sling, not the cheap er 1930s production sling that you find often online.
