RARE leather sling M1894 m94-14 Swedish Mauser Rifle Carbine CAVALRY swede NR

Message to buyers: pictures of my M94 rifles (and slings on these) are for ILLUSTRATIVE purposes only, so you can appreciate the functionality and use of this leather sling actually mounted on a M1894 Carbine / rifle (Carl Gustaf and an Oberndorf Waffenfabrik Swedish Mauser) and it will give you a chance to compare these side by side (last picture). In other words, please do not ask me to sell my rifles or original sling, these are absolutely are not included nor are for sale! Thank you for visiting my Auctions. These are at about 49″-51″ (just as the original). As you can see from the pictures, everything is correct as far as thickness, width and the looks. These are in a great used and functional condition! Some have very clear crown (Swedish crowns) markings/imprints, some are not – if I was able to capture these – I took a picture of it. Some might have a stain or discoloration, I tried to capture any on the images. Another cool part is: a leather loop – as you usually NEVER see a matching loop on the original M94 slings (100years usually do a number to a piece of leather :). If you own a Swedish carbine and tried to modify your regular M96/M38/Ljungman AG-42B sling(s) to fit your Swede M1894, you know how sad it looks besides holes and cut-outs for the brass studs, you also are dealing with a 46-48 sling which is shorter to begin with… Well, here is your chance to own next best thing at 1/3 of the price of the original (if you can find one), best of all, still original Swedish. I personally have 4 carbines which were missing a sling and now have these on my collectibles. Again, the only difference from the original in physical appearance is: instead of heaving 25 holes +1 for the buckle – this MODIFIED sling has holes all the way thru (so simply extra holes). Pictures should be self explanatory. Please see my other auctions for variety of Swedish Mauser, FSR, CG-63, CG-80, M94, M96, M38, Ljungman (AG-42B), Mauser Bolts, SVT-40 tools/parts, Mosin items and other unique parts and items. Thank you and good luck! Feedback: is very important to me. The item “RARE leather sling M1894 m94-14 Swedish Mauser Rifle Carbine CAVALRY swede NR” is in sale since Thursday, October 06, 2016. Pre-WWI US ARMY M1903 Leather Sling Krag Rifle or Carbine R. I. A. 1903 RARE

Original pre-WWI US Army/USMC M1903 Leather Sling for the Krag Rifle or Carbine – Marked: Rock Island Arsenal 1903 – VERY RARE. The sling is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1903. The marking are very faint but are readable. They are easier to see than they appear in the photo’s. This sling has the correct Blackened Brass hook. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling on the surface of the leather. No deep cracks or breaks. The leather has darken with age, but still retains that rich russet brown color. The sticting is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional pre-WWI era Sling and would look great on a WWI era rifle. These early M1903 Slings are Very RARE. The M1903 sling was patterned after the M1887 Sling and was adopted to be used with the Krag Rifle or Carbine and the NEW M1903 Rifle. The sling was 48 long and had the same type of brass adjustment frog and button as the M1887 sling. The M1903 slings were dated (1903 & 1904 were observed) and all examples were believed to be made by Rock Island Arsenal. While marginally adequate as a carrying sling, it was not long enough to be useful as a shooting aid. The sling was replaced with the M1907 sling, which was used through WWI & WWII. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
