Very nice German late war WWII leather sling for Mauser K98 and other German firearms , G43′s. Leather is nice and strong – shows some expected ware. I could not find any markings on this sling. Correct ricasso pattern and stitching in nice shape. Can be safely mounted on your K98. Leather is very playable. Check my other auctions. WWII Era German Army Leather Sling for KKW Mauser Training Rifle – Original – Nice Condition. The leather has darkened with age and usage. The leather is soft and supple. Some minor surface cracks. There is an extra hole punched in the end of the sling to accomodate a button stud. There are some numbers stamped on the rear of the sling, probably a unit designation, see photo.
