leather rifle sling

These swives were used in the models 52, 70, 71, & 64 Deluxe models. Swivels are in very nice condition. Sling is in very nice condition with the leather being pretty soft.

Used condition, see pictures, can be shortened and lengthened.

1873 1884 Trapdoor Springfield Leather Rifle Sling. It was removed from a Springfield Trapdoor military rifle. I have seen this style of sling on earlier rifles as well as 1895, 1896 and 1898 Springfield rifles. See my other items from this rifle.

This is a very nice sling with. He color is a. Brown and is pretty. The leather is firm. The leather is smooth with little surface wear. There are some very faint surface cracks. The backside has some remnants of the original surface visible. He frogs are securely attached. And have some light patina. Comes with 2 nice sling keepers.
