This sling has the correct WWI Blackened Brass hooks. Still retains some of the original blacking on the metal hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and pliable. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some minor surface cracks and wrinkling of the leather, please see photos. The leather has darkened due to age. WWII US M1907 sling for the M1 Garand and 1903 Springfield rifles. Fresh out of the woodwork with dust and a thin white film that wipes right off. I’ll leave it to the next owner to gently clean or leave as is. Solid original condition with steel hardware and both leather keepers. No visible markings stamped or ink, which isn’t unusual with these slings.
