This is an original sling. The fittings are brass. I did not find any markings on the sling.. I’m guessing markings have worn away over the years. The leather feels good and supple. The condition is overall good as you can see in the photos. I can send you more photos just ask! This would be a great sling to display your M1 grand or 1903 Springfield.
