Handmade RARE Gun Rifle strap holster sling hunting leather carrier holder device. Metal thingy at top to hang it from a coat or pants waist. The metal thingy bends over at the top and is also slightly bent. Looks like the loop can hang up to 20 from the top. The reason we believe this is a Custom made holder is because the small silver part with the red screw has a monogram of EPS (S is the last name on it). The loop is reinforced with a rough textured material so gun does not slide around. The loop is currently 16″ around and can go up to 29″! This would be a great device if you are a hunter or if you have rifles to store!!! This is a rare sling so get this while you can! Fabulous Vintage Arvo Ojala Custom Tooled “BRUNO” Brown Leather Double Cobra Style Gun Sling – RARE. Has stained, engraved lion/tiger, engraved name “Bruno”, nice possibly silver fancy rivets. The leather is thick and strong, with a suede backing, and there are no condition issues. This sling most likely dates to pre-1990′s as Ojala passed in 2005 at age 85, and this does not appear to have been used. Arvo Ojala was a Hollywood technical advisor on the subject of quick-draw with a revolver. He also worked as an actor; his most famous role was that of the unnamed man shot by Marshal Matt Dillon in the opening sequences of the long-running television series Gunsmoke. For a very interesting read, look him up on Wikipedia. He founded a holster company and used six different marks on his leather goods. Please view all images and ask any questions.
