I have many many more slings, belts, holsters, military WWII, WWI, Vietnam war, etc listed. Here is a vintage leather rifle sling. I could not find any markings on this. 1 1/4 wide and worn, but still strong. This has STEEL hooks, and not the more commonly seen brass. I think this is for the M1 Garand or Springfield rifle. IF THIS IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I’M NOT TRYING TO SCREW ANYONE. I’M JUST CALLING THESE AS I SEE THEM. I’M NOT A RIFLE SLING EXPERT. Please see pics for more details. With some darker spots. The leather is very strong, soft and pliable. It is stamped BOYT 42 but it is a little hard to read. It will hold the weight of a rifle just fine. It has strong stitching. The surface is very smooth. Very little surface cracking. It comes with 2 very nice keepers. Are intact and strong. Strong and well attached. See my other sling auctions of this type. Excellent strong condition but missing both of the sliding loops. Definitely original WWII military production but we see no markings.
