My father sent this back from WW2. Gave the barrel and mechanisms to my Uncle who used it to make a hunting rifle. The wood is in very nice condition with very little if any dents and dings. There’s no damage to the stock only minor surface scratches. The sling is leather and appears to be older but I don’t think it’s original to the gun, even though it came with the rifle when I got it.
