leather rifle sling

For sale here is a fair US WW1 M1903 Leather Rifle Sling. The sling is complete with two leather slides, 1 brass slide loop, 1 brass hook, and 1 steel hook. The sling appears to be put together from two separate halves. The only part of the marking that i can make out is the date of 1917. The maker name appears to be above the date, but i can’t make it out. The sling shows some light cracking at the holes, with heavier cracking at the holes that it was buckled in for the longest. The sling is supple and feels fairly strong. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Please take a look at my other great items!
