Bushcrafts Latigo Rifle Sling. No stitching or buckles. No rivets or screws. Bushcrafts Rifle Slings are made from one piece of leather with two unique braided knots. Starting from a single strap of leather and using minimal hand tools the Bushcrafts Rifle Sling is created. Everything is held together using the existing leather only. A braided sliding knot is used to adjust length and a braided fastening knot is used for attachment at the butt end. Two handmade matching keepers are cut to fit from the original length of sling. Each sling is individually handcrafted in the USA. All work is done in-house from start to finish. Only the finest available USA sourced steer hides are procured and cut into 1-1/4 inch strips by hand in our shop. Bushcrafts slings are extremely rugged and fully functional. They can be used as a carry strap and deployed in all shooting positions such as a hasty sling or arm loop sling. The sling will hold adjustment at any length and is made for hard outdoor use. Latigo Leather is strong, durable and flexible. Tanned twice for maximum strength. No break-in or maintenance needed. Latigo is heavier and denser than the English Bridle leather so thinner 8-9 oz. This Latigo leather is stuffed with tallow and wax at the tannery so it has outstanding moisture resistance and can easily stand up to the harshest outdoor elements.
