Very nice German WWII leather sling for Mauser K98 and other German firearms , G43′s, Mp’s. Leather is nice and strong – dated 1940 from what I can see. Correct ricasso pattern and stitching in great shape. This sling is shorter from classic K98 sling for about 6. Can be safely mounted on your K98 , G’s Mp’s – no risk of braking! The metal clasp is great with some surface paint wear. Length from tip to tip is over 48 inches. Not including the clasp. No cracks but there are some wrinkles. Strong hardware and stitching.
