Original World War One WW1 US M-1907 leather rifle sling. These were issued with M-1903 Springfield Rifles and Enfield P-17 Rifles. Latter issued between the wars and into WW2 for M-1 Garand rifles and again for Springfields. These were also used by the British with the Enfield No. The Kerr Sling is considered by many to be the greatest sling ever made. They are still being made today. This fine example has original brass hook fittings and is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1917 T. This is one of the rarest maker and year combinations. Still soft and flexible with not tears or splits.
